While working with Friendship Public Charter Schools on a number of architecture projects for various campuses across Washington, DC and beyond, the MMD team was also tasked to help create a sense of place with graphics on various project construction sites.
In addition to simply enhancing the physical footprint of the sites while facilities are under construction, the graphics help to bring the FPCS brand alive, build awareness for the mission and vision of the organization, and get the community excited about what is to come. The MMD team worked closely with the client to select dynamic photography and use simple, bold language that results in powerful storytelling.
Friendship is one of the District of Columbia’s largest and highest-performing public charter school networks, with 16 schools serving over 4,500 students in prekindergarten through 12th grade, offering world-class education that prepares students for college and career success. Friendship empowers students to achieve high academic standards, enjoy learning, and develop as ethical and well-rounded citizens who contribute actively to their communities.
