WUSA 9 Features Michael Marshall Design

Capping off Black History Month, WUSA 9 producer JC Whittington visited our studio to learn more about the life and career of MMD Design Director and Principal Michael Marshall. After spending some time at the office, Whittington and Marshall toured several MMD projects, including the University of the District of Columbia Student Center and the Chuck Brown Memorial. “It was a pleasure to welcome JC to our office and to spend some time talking about our history as a firm and my own personal journey,” said Marshall. “As a minority-owned firm, we are eager to tell our story and to encourage others who may not always feel represented to persevere and blaze their own path.”
