MMD’s Jan Bigas and Chrys Sbily were pleased to join members of the Mount Vernon Triangle Community Improvement District at the CID’s annual meeting on Friday, May 3.
The MMD branding team was hired to design the organization’s annual report, which was revealed and distributed at the meeting. The CID’s President, Kenyattah Robinson, and Chairman of the Board, Berkeley Shervin, addressed the community with news of a strong year of growth, celebrated members of the CID that contribute to maintaining its safe and welcoming neighborhoods, recognized the contributions of retailers and residents, and shared examples of some of the CID’s most unique and innovative projects in residential, retail, office and hospitality sectors.
Art director Jan Bigas and designers Dina Cuadrado and Vivian Suarez created an impactful design which showcased the theme of “Fostering Connections, Fueling Growth.” Design elements included dynamic infographics, colorful and informative maps, a spread dedicated to powerful retailer testimonials, and a word cloud graphic that showcased results of the CID’s 2018 Neighborhood Perception Survey.
The result was a publication that CID President Kenyattah Robinson called, “Probably the best book we’ve ever done.”
