Audi Field Opening Day

Audi Field officially opens July 14, 2018, when the DC United will host the Vancouver Whitecaps in its new home. The opening day will be the beginning of an exciting few days in the District, setting up All-Star Week on the waterfront, culminating in the All Star game at Nationals Park.  The DC United game kicks off at 7 pm, and officially marks the end of a 10-year wait for the United to enjoy a new stadium. Audi Field will also host a variety of cultural and community activities. The state-of-the-art venue has a capacity to host 20,000 fans and will feature more than 30 luxury suites, a bike valet, and 500,000 total square feet of mixed-use retail and residential space, making it “a 365-day destination for fans and D.C. residents alike.”
