MMD is the architect for Howard University’s new construction on the intersection of V Street and Georgia Avenue NW. The project will be a mixed-use urban design consisting of residential units, retail and office spaces, hotel and parking garage. The development respects the most sensitive portions of the historic structures by retaining over 20 feet of the original building exterior. Our design will improve the University Community’s quality of life by implementing smart urban design, enhance connectivity and walkability, and further develop the campus edge.
