On the Tuskegee campus, the historic landmark was constructed in 1901 and began hosting guests in 1903. In 1994 a substantial renovation and expansion was completed, and in 2023 the university embarked on a large-scale modernization in order to provide visitors a world-class experience within the hallowed grounds of the renowned HBCU campus. As part of the extensive modernization, the Kellogg Hotel and Conference Center will feature 17,000 sq. ft. of meeting space, a 300-seat auditorium, and ballroom that will accommodate up to 500 guests. Located at the gateway to the campus, it will offer guests all the comforts of home with beautiful views of the campus’ historic landmarks.
Critical to the success of the campaign is a microsite and collateral materials, all featuring immersive storytelling. MMD worked closely with university senior leadership to develop the theme of the campaign: Embracing the Legacy. Transforming the Future. In addition to working with the client to frame the content for the website, the MMD team created a clean, modern design that provides a seamless experience for prospective donors.
Website features include a timeline that details the history of the landmark, a display of architectural renders that illustrate plans for the facility, and clearly defined donor levels. The site is easy to navigate, and visitors are also able to make donations online or simply learn more about donation opportunities and benefits.
