Curl Theory Salon
MMD served as interior architect for this new full-service, upscale salon, which opened in early 2017. The salon brand identity, including the logo and distinct color palette, was infused into every color and texture selection. From the bold color and style of the chairs to the accent wall that features the logo, to the clean and modern patterns found in the flooring and cabinetry, every selection mirrors the style and refinement that was the vision of the salon owner. A comfortable reception area allows the staff to warmly welcome clients and opens to ample space for services on both sides of the salon. Cabinetry and shelving along the right wall are used for both display and storage purposes, and also offers space for retail products to be prominently featured.

A Bold Brand Voice
The salon's signature bold color was infused into accent walls and chairs that matched the hue to perfection. The owner's vision of a salon that celebrates bold, "self-minded" curls, was infused into every part of the brand, from the logo to the color palette to the texture on the countertops.
