Michael Marshall’s America’s Black Forum Interview Airs

Michael Marshall, FAIA, NOMA, NCARB is featured on a recent installment of America’s Black Forum, a nationally-syndicated news feature program.

In the segment, Marshall reflects on his career of over 30 years, as well as the need for diversity, representation, and mentorship in the architecture profession. As the interview reminds us, we still have a long way to go towards achieving a diverse design profession – according to the National Council of Architectural Registration Board’s (NCARB) 2023 data, only 7% of registered architects identify as Black, while 18% identify as Asian and 21% as Hispanic or Latino.
